Yorkshire Dales Sailing Club are very pleased to host the D-Zero Inland Championships at Grimwith Reservoir on 12th and 13th October 2024.

Entries and Suggested Entry Donations

To help with planning and organisation please enter online below. Online entries will close at 14:00 on 10th October. The suggested entry donation (as we are a charity) for the event is £30 per boat.

Event Schedule

Saturday 12th
• Registration at the clubhouse from Saturday 09:00 hrs
• Competitor Briefing Time 10:30 hrs, Saturday 12th.
• Race 1 first warning signal not before 10:55, Race 2
• Lunch Break
• 2 back to back races after Saturday lunch.

Sunday 13th
• Warning signal not before 10:25. Races anticipated to be back to back The aim will be to be done by lunchtime
• No warning signal for races on the last day will be made after 14:00hrs

If cancellation is required due to weather or any other unforeseen event, then this will be notified on this website.

Other Key Information

Catering arrangements: Lunch will be available both days from the Galley. Subject to sufficient interest, a Saturday evening meal will be available at approximately 18:30 from the YDSC Galley.  (Pasta-based, with pudding). Please indicate interest by Wednesday 9th October, so we can confirm there are sufficient numbers to make it worth the caterer’s time. Either through booking for the event or using the facebook event page.
Camping for motorhomes and tents is free (sorry, Yorkshire Water specify no caravans). Gates open at 16:00 Friday 11th and visitors should leave by 17:30 Sunday 13th.
